Turmeric Almond Mylk

Turmeric Almond Mylk

*This recipe is a little high in carbs (and sugar) due to the dates (in the almond mylk). You can choose to omit them, or reserve this recipe for a carb re-feed day. 🙂

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Homemade Almond Mylk*
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • Pinch fresh grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon or cinnamon stick

*Or store-bought if you’re not up for the work. But homemade is soooooo much better!

Instructions

  1. Warm almond mylk in pot over low heat.
  2. Once warmed, whisk in remaining ingredients.

Best enjoyed before bedtime, or on a Netflix and chill sort of day.
